Even Wigan fans stating they’ve been treated favourably. It was always gong to happen, they’ve got to give Wigan the best chance of keeping it under 40.

Hull FC have been handed a triple blow by the MRP with Franklin Pele, who was sent off in the derby, receiving a Grade E charge. He faces a tribunal and a ban of 4-6 matches. Ligi Sao has been banned for three games with Herman Ese'ese for two.

Looking at the charges from our game the one that stands out to me is Paul Sergier. It was so obvious head contact with Crowther I found it unbelievable that the video ref hadn’t picked it up. It was definitely a straight red head to head contact. It wouldn’t have made any difference to the result but proved the ref and video ref to be inconsistent with the new rules. I had a laugh at Terry O Connor trying to convince the viewers it was a whiplash injury. Crowther banned for 1 match for standing his ground probably would of missed Hull match with HIA injury.

Crowther had tied his boot laces wrong and the ref. only noticed towards the end of the game thankfully.

Ah yes. Right lace over left first. At least he didn’t get 4 games for helping a player off the ground. Thankfully for Ligi Sao he only got 3 for deliberately kneeing a player in the head twice, which is much less dangerous.
