If he's 100% committed to turning it around as he says then he literally has no other choice. I'd sit them all down in the stands and send out the team that played Salford the other year. At least they showed some guts.
Lots of suggestions being made as possible explanations for what's happening - the players aren't playing for Powell, something's gone on behind the scenes, the players are unhappy over Hill and Mamo going, etc. One or all of these might be true, I have no idea. Then again, maybe we all just hope it's something of that nature because the alternative - that the players are simply not good enough - is a scarier reality that would need a much longer-term fix.

I didn't see the game but I'm sure someone who did can confirm the following: - Props hardly ran onto the ball - We had 1 dummy runner maximum but mostly had 0 when attacking - We passed across the line with no pace - Mata'utia knocked on at least once
