Good interview Gary. I believe in what he says about him working very hard at things, and I applaud the fact that he got into some 'confidence coaches' (I seriously doubt that this was his idea though, and I hope what they were saying to the team wasn't derailed by sniggering at the back of the class).
My fear still remains though and it is a question I would like answering (although a truthful response would be unlikely) and that is, is their a TEAM spirit in the camp, or is it (as I suspect) fractious.
In a high impact game like RL the players need to WANT to put their bodies on the line for their team-mates - do or die and all that.
Sir Alex always instils a siege mentality at United, a feeling that all other teams.the media etc are out to get them, and look at the results that this produces, with his team fired up and willing to go the extra mile in order to shove any negative words issued at them back down their throats.
I hope that JL is trying the same thing at Wire. Hopefully through adversity some semblance of camaraderie will form (crosses fingers).
