Sat on coach in traffic with the horrible feeling of losing a final for the 1st time in 3 years + it ain't nice but well done Leeds for doing the business.Best team won.

Chin up though, you should be proud of the club's achievements this season and this ground breaking trip to the Grand Final won't be your last. In Australia they used to say you have to lose one to win one. Warrington will return wiser and more streetwise next year.

Hasn't worked out for saints though has it in recent times.

Although with tony Smith in charge I tend to agree with you can see wire getting back to old Trafford and going one better next year.
Cracking coach and summed up the positive side of our sport with how he spoke after the game and congratulating the Leeds players.

We have enough personal trainer's in our team, couldn't one of them give Briers some motivation in the gym so he wasn't a complete liability in defense... Ablett try was his fault for initially giving away a penalty, with lazy attempt at tackle, and then not being able to slow ablett down whatsoever... And Joel didn't trust briers to tackle ablett fo have hall space to score... Nevermind that he seems to.lack the fitness to get back the ten half the time.

Yeah and still lose to the Rhinos. Coming back wiser and more streetwise sure helped the Saints this last 5 years!

We were the architects of our own down fall - dropped the ball too much & too many penalties. Agree that the best team won

Much as it pains me to say it, I don't think any Wire fan can seriously argue against the fact that the better team won tonight.
Let's hope we get back there next year.

Despite losing 5 on the trot, we have managed to be superleague champion 5 times as well. So its not always been doom and gloom, we have a successful superleague history, whilst most teams like yourselves don't have anything to savour.
