MOM against Wigan : Thu Apr 28, 2016 9:01 pm
Has to be Gidley... there has been so many great displays tonight though

Clark has been truly exceptional and nearly killed a man when he folded him in half.

Sims lead from the front and was a trojan

Penny was fantastic

Westwood has smashed them to pieces.

But Gidley....... ive spent the whole game marveling at him. The guy has no weakness whatsoever... what a truly majestic rugby league player.

Clark was close, he was amazing.

Outstanding performances across the park though. Ratch, Hill, Russell, Jullien, Evans.. Actually all of them.

Jullien and evans were both brilliant.... evans ran about 20m in the first half with a thug strapped to his face.. got up to play the ball and had blood pouring from his nose.... then ran the next ball in like a prop. thats what you want to see from your men.

Clark, penny and Gidley were absolutely superb. Jullien was very good and that was possibly ratchfords best game for us his kicking game was brilliant but then again we actually completed sets and put the ball in his hands. Not a bad player tonight, Wigan struggled with the conditions and injuries I expect better from them later on in the season.

To be honest no one had a bad game.
Evans is a real tough cookie and was dangerous after taking those hits.
The penny / Russell interchange worked well and I thought the goons would capitalise on that following last week.
Clark put in some real hard work and made massive hits.
Julien was very impressive for a 20 year old. Chuffed for him.
Good time to have a rest for some.

Best performance in a Wires shirt so far for Clarke.......but Gidley still Shaded it for me....

just too good.......

also a special mention to Kevin Penny who took a lot of heat off Matty Russell today.

and one more ....Benjamin Jullien because I like it when he puts in those crowd pleasers on bigger blokes....

Has anyone ever taken fewer minutes to become a wire crowd pleaser than Jullien? He's got loads of raw talent to work with, a real appetite for a defensive hit and any work he can get involved with in attack, thoroughly deserved his try and you can see what the lads think of him with the mad try celebrations. He's got a long way to go but has all the tools.
