After reading that I’m not convinced we will even get the same as we already have. That’s a big deal for EFL, I know that other companies are taking more of the premier league from SKY but with this deal with lower tier football and the emergence of more women’s football and with these new cricket formats SKY have just simply spent the premier league money.
The post goes on to say about talking with other media outlets but no detail, that does not encourage me at all. If I read it right I believe we get nothing from C4 which also runs out this season and with the BBC wanting to sell C4 or they was the last time I looked well that could come to an end.
So without knowing who is talking to who we could end up in a right mess in that most the teams in Superleague can not survive without the money we already get from Sky. This is all guess work from what info I have seen around but I hope we get something, really dislike a lot of things about the Sky coverage but we need them unless BT or Amazon etc are in the frame.
