It was quite funny for a few years seeing them languishing in the Championship, but I must admit to missing our proper derby. All the Smellies in the west stand doing their "twist and shout", and the away games used to be good with Wire filling a stand "and some".

I'd have them back in a heartbeat but they'd have to promise to be the struggling version not the unbearable variety that nearly ruined my formative years the Challenge Cup winning team that attracted the hoardes of peroxide blonde Diana Dors type harridans dressed in monochrome crympalene trousers suits

They seem to be offloading more players than Salford at the moment! Not sure what their financial state currently is, but it doesn't look good from outside.

I read this some while ago, and I still cannot unsee it!
As for missing Widnes, I've done it many times on a regular basis by driving round it.

No, that's Runcorn, Widnes is the cess pit at the end of the 2 bridges.
