not sure what goes on these days, but i know of many speccies who used to have a right good go at players on a sunday night in shergars during the 1980's


only once got out of hand when a certain aussie couldn't rise above the comments...........

Yeah I had a right go about Paul Anderson once on a coach and his mum was sat a few seats away from me

He had been awful at the time though but we were playing Widnes away that day and I think he scored 2 or 3 tries and we won so that shut me up lol

Met Lee Marsh today, told him how crap we were on sunday and that at least Dick Turpin wore a mask.

many times on a match day we get " worked up", and say things about a players performance, unaware who is adjacent to you

here are just a few people who have been , shall we say, less than impressed by what my circle of matchday buddies have had to say....

We call him Mick Govin's, Mick Govin's , Mick Govin. Its difficult when you have a lot of Micks in the family, his grandad is Mick and his dad is Mick so I suppose Michael helps to differentiate (maybe his dad is now Mike but when I played football with him he was a Mick)

I wonder if he has a son and what his name is ???????

I totally agree with you! (optimist) I was at the game on sunday sat behind the most rude people who were booing the players. I couldnt keep quiet I had to say something to them as I thought it was disgraceful! I do not understand their thinking as this is neither encouraging them nor positive when they come back out after half time!
