So now that Leigh have played virtually all the fancied teams (Widnes, Haven, Barrow, Fev) at some stage this season, except for Halifax, has any team really impressed you or looked much better than your own team? Judging by your results and match reports and when I have seen you, IMO, none of these teams looked any better than you. What do Leigh fans reckon? Are there any of them that you think you cannot beat etc ?

Fev were poor and only won due to a terribly biased ref.
Barrow were gifted the result but can see them being good at home
Widnes were as bad if not worse than us clueless in attack
Haven were the best out of the 4 very big physical as usual and pace out wide yet we beat em?

Fax are the best by far at the moment it would seem, lets seee how things shape up play off time

That seems to bode very well for Leigh then, especially, as many of yor fans seem to think there's lots of room for improvement. Halifax are obviously the form team at the moment, but they are not beating the other fancied teams by much. They beat Widnes narrowly twice at home and won narrowly at Barrow and Haven. They are no doubt a good side, but I feel the huge score they got against Batley, was due to some disharmony and trouble at Batley. Even Toulouse scored 60 at Batley. I know they beat you, but I feel if you played them now, you too would absolutely thrash them, due to a bit of disunity at their club. It all seems to be shaping up into a very tight competition then amongst the top eight or so clubs. That is good.

After the last half hour yesterday I would put money on Batley

I can see why you would think that, especially as Batley seem to be a bit of a bogey team for you, but believe me, any team in this division would currently beat Batley by a big margin. They have not just conceded about 130 points in the last two games because they have suddenly got very bad players. As we all know, when a bit of trouble starts off the pitch, it does not matter how good your players are ,you tend to get hammered. Your fans know more than most, that when Batley are actually motivated, they are not a bad side. However, if you do not give 100% in this league, any team will thrash you. It is a pity for you that you are not playing them in your next fixture. Let's hope they can sort their troubles out soon as it reflects badly on the comp when a team keeps losing by cricket scores.
