How is your new ground comparing to your old one people?

I know the all seater grounds lack a bit of soul but what is it like with the terracing etc?

Serious sport has nothing to do with fair play. It is bound up with hatred, jealousy, boastfulness, disregard of all rules and sadistic pleasure in witnessing violence. In other words, it is war minus the shooting.

The facility itself is fantastic, and the teething problems we experienced in the first few months with the SMC appear to be slowly ironed out.

As for the atmosphere, it's only as good as it's last game...and it felt like home that night

Excellent facility, as Matt says, but takes some getting used to - by fans and players alike. As with all new stadia, there have been problems - mostly with making it feel like home. Still, as long as the fans/club officials/stadium owners/catering company can keep talking, things will improve. Then our biggest problem is trying to get Leigh folk to go there regularly!
