This 'incident' occurred right in front of me and I cringed as Day let him go! I've rarely seen such a bad 'tackle' in all the years I've watched the game For some on here to dispute the title of the 'tackle' is incredulous !!
It was the kind of the move you would see in the Ring at Professional Wrestling match and, Big Daddy would have been proud of it! Had Pownall not been able to adjust his landing he would might have been looking at a life changing event! Is that serious enough ? We all know what some may have got for a COULD HAVE

You may have been right in front of the incident but you missed that the tackle on Pownall had been completed, he was then lifted, turned over and dropped on his back.
If that was the worst tackle you have seen, you must have been in the bar when some other tackles were effected. There was one at LSV last season.

There are no sentencing guidelines for what potentially could have happened. They base the grading on fact not what COULD HAVE!

It's precisely to avoid this kind of subjective claptrap that the RFL disciplinary committee have very clear guidelines about each kind of offence.
