on the tv derek said he insisted they budget for crowds of 1500. for the first time ever we started the season with all the sponsorship money/season ticket money to go at.
the final payment from the rl in december distribution + parachute had seen of all other debts, bar what he is still owed perhaps.
our crowds have been excellent but we have spent on loans and signings
he said if he thought we had a chance later in the season and players became available he could have a go however he thought woolpack would also be looking to invest late this year rather than early as they had last year so we would not be able to compete and he would save his money for next year
