Featherstone play-off : Mon Sep 09, 2019 8:39 pm
Looks like we will each be missing one next Sunday.

Slightly surprised that the play-offs now follow SL Disciplinary processes this season. I understood why, last season, when there were SL teams involved in the play-offs, but thought we would be following Championship procedures this time around.

Looks like they are bringing up to 700 over for this one. Hope the LSV segregate them in the south stand and the stewards do their job and check them for weapons, fireworks and flares. We don’t want a repeat of their recent visits to the stadium. Also a police presence in the town centre would be good this time to avoid the trouble they cause in the pubs around town. I know a few of bars are employing door staff for the day but that won’t be enough with this lot in town.

Not sure they could have done it any other way Alan.. With Toronto missing a week.

Looks like Cameron King is out for them so a big blow.

Just need someone to completely 'snot' Chisholm with the first hit of the match.

Fev play some good stuff and will score a good few points. Their goal line defence on the other hand is a bit to be desired. Hood and Brown could do some serious damage but our defence will need to be good for this one.

I predict a high (ish) scoring game. Leigh by 10.

Looking forward to coming over on Sunday meeting up with some good friends wearing their Leigh colours for some great great banter. for me this is a game that can go either way with form over the last few weeks meaning nothing. So expect to see two evenly matched teams in a great advert for our league. I'll go for a Fev win (well I have to don't I :) ).

PS for the THECherry&White - please PM me if you'd like to meet up before the game for a beverage, so that I can help prove all your prejudices are true.

Well we'll find out if Leigh decided to play a deadrubber v Toronto knowing the outcome of the Fev result. Myself I'm not convinced. Home tie at present counts for nothing. Hoping for a cracker..

Thats the game by the way..
