I was in the "kids pen" he was very fast but he was never a rugby player i think he scored a try in the corner near the score board if my memory serves me well. I can't remember the final score.also i think this was his one and only game. the only thing that leigh r.l. got out of it was publicity the build up to the game and the game itself it was all over the sporting pages of all the national newspapers...I remember all this charlie because iam older than you.....lol
As I said I never saw Bailey play , my dad told me about him though and what a great publicity stunt it was , I agree you must be older than me , I’m 70 a youngster I suppose , but we all are fans of our Great Club .Take care mate .
