I'm not entirely sure how good the performance was because I only listened on the radio, but I expected us to get a win by between 24 and 40 points and we didn't disappoint. Very happy that we added another nilling to Wakefields impressive list of nillings - they must be on for some sort of record?

Short turnaround now for Leeds on Friday, we go again and I expect this next one to be a battle.

It sounded like we defended well and played some good rugby on the back of that.

Good performance. Lam ran the show. Wakefield worked hard in defence first half and we were perhaps but nervy until we scored. At 10 - nil first score in second half was important and after Leigh got it was pretty much a case of how many we would win by. Charnley and Kai both in great form. Missing Ben in forwards hopefully he is back soon. Short turnaround to Friday game will make it a tough game. An important 2 points.

First half was poor from both teams, it was if a switch was clicked in the second half and Wakefield couldn’t cope with Leigh’s pace & handling.

Remembering how we were blowing out of our "ah sez" towards the end of the Wigan game, Bongser would say that we don't like 5 day turnarounds. That, with a 5 dayer coming up, is what made the two points special today.

All week was confident and nervous at the same time - it's a funny old game, Saint.

Joy intermingled with relief tonight.

Should we get a win against Leeds, that would be a purely joyful result. The next biggy, as we try to shake off the gravitational pull of our old mate The Championship, is Cas at home. Win that and we'll've probably reached escape velocity. Bongser could then throw his rearview mirror away.

Not sure todays run out will have taken much out of the tank. 5 day turnaround with light training they should be alright. Not a great performance but a very good result.

I remember the 5 day turn around after Catalan, worked a treat.... bring on the Rhinos...
