Huddersfield are beating Cats with 5 minutes left. If we can beat Salford and Saints beat Cats we go joint top. Who'd have thought it?

Just watched a three hour Tarantino with La Jeunesse (payment for abandoning her last night to glue the old ears to commentary from Cas). Only then did Bongser look up tonight's surprise (but hoped for) result. Wow!

Tomorrow's games are less pivotal for us (but come on FC and Leeds). Should we see a perfect six and England put the Ozzies to the blade, this weekend should be known as Leyth Weekend in perpetuity. Each time that in future the dates and days align there should be a local holiday, a wakes break, declared. This should be put to Andy Burnham!

I was confident that we had the team for 8 ish in the table. I was also hoping we could get on a roll and push for top 6.
Anyone that knows me, knows that despite 50+ years of watching our team, I am the external optimist BUT
even I did not date to dream about where we are right now.
If it all come to nought from here out, I know the team will have given their all. That is what this group is all about. They will not lose for the want of trying or for the desire to win.
They will lose, but it will be a bitter pill for them, that they will not want to accept.
We have a team that wants to win, we have a coaching team that knows how to put them in the best position to win.
We can ask no more as fans.
A dream Mick, maybe, but it is the dream that is still there when you wake up.
I can honestly say that if we don’t win the Challenge Cup, win the league, or win the playoffs, this season has made me smile so much more than I ever hoped for.

We may even emulate Man City by not only facing our nearest rivals in the CC Final, but doing the treble of League Leaders Shield, CC Winners and SL Champions. Anything is possible with Adrian Lam as coach. It's no wonder the Aussies are World Champions with Adrian Lam as assistant coach. We're so fortunate to have him. Amazing coaching skills.

The last coach to turn a Leigh side around in such a short space of time was Steve Simms. We were bottom of the league losing 11 out of 11. Saints came to Hilton Park having won 11 out off 11. It was an evening KO and the heavens were thundering and barrages of hailstones were unleashed between flashes of lightning, and we beat them and went on to win many more.

The stars are aligned. This is the year of the Leopard!

This has certainly been dreamy and I'm definitely not ready to wake up yet , this season has been great for me because of all the challenges and targets that were set have not only been met but been smashed .Pies , cats and Salford only teams not to have turned over ...amazing ! If we can get that monkey off our back next weekend that leaves two .cats at home for first time in five games will be a huge day and as far as pies go if it really is in the stars then maybe we could get two over them before the end of the season.

We can't now be top next week - maybe not the next, but soon and for the rest of....

Thought Saints were gonna snatch it at the end but all Leigh can do is beat Salford (not a given) and see what happens. COYL!

Also, Roby and Percival are out of SF after failing HIA tests. Let's hope we come through unscathed at Salford.
