Stephenson was a stinker of a signing for sure... opened a can of worms here though as to who was our worst ever signing.

He wasn't our worst signing but I remember Mike Ford only bothered playing for us once we transfer listed him to get people interested

I actually thought we might go for him pre-season to be honest. Let's be honest he's a 100%'er and he's proven at this level.

Not sure he's what we really need though. A strong running prop is missing for me, someone who can really punch holes in the defence.

Think that has to be our first priority. No good having world class half backs if your forwards can't set a platform.

Exactly. People are all over Watson but he can't pull the strings without help from the forwards. It'll also give Durbin more time and space when he's on the park.

Blimey those are names from the past. Darrell was with Leigh's Reserves / Academy previously - Darren Abrams class of 2000 if I remember rightly while in 2001 Doots returned from St Helens having earlier played academy rugby about 1998?

He kicked Widnes to death in the Alliance Grand Final of 2001, he must be 29/30 now.

dootson was always more than a capable stand off and if its Rowlands the hooker, didn'the play for Blackpool when his dad was on the board? and isn't he a hooker and haven't we just let a hooker/half back/loose forward, go out on loan to Blackpool
