He may have been a bit enthusiatic with his 'floral' language but the point about the atmosphere does ring true. Can anyone remember a good atmosphere at Hilton Park in the last few years because I cant? And was there not an excellent atmosphere against Salford in the first game at the LSV?

Most games against Widnes (even the 'friendlies'!), Wakey & Broncquins games in Super League certainly stand out. That said, bloody dire for most league games, but even so not the near silence of recent games at the LSV. Don't think it helps when Leigh are attacking the South Stand in the second half though, to be fair.

That's why I've posted before if we don't open the south end then away fans should be allocated the South end of the West stand, they and we will then play towards our fans in the second half.



In response to the OP, I love it at LSV, but have criticised the certain things, like the atmosphere, but thats down to us, I don't know about others but we're just starting to settle in a 'fixed position', and the old HP crew slowly standing together again, and having a laugh, LSV needs time, room for improvement but has great potential.

Completely agree with that, but I must admit I'll be interested to see how many cheapskate Widnesians will save £2 and run the North Stand gauntlet.





Noticed that myself - hopefully the settling in period won't last too much longer and we can finally concentrate on what is happening on the field and the atmosphere will follow.
