I think Leigh could have perhaps thrashed Lokomotiv without this 10 5 penalty count. The most pessimistic Leigh fan knows that even if they had had the advantage in penalties, you would have hammered them. Do you think he would have given you this at home to Fev? I cannot believe Hewer is reffing you again. It stinks. Surely you realise he has reffed you in virtually all your Sky games of the last couple of years. Why? What a coincidence it is that you also have not won on Sky in the last couple of years(not since 2006). Surely you Leigh fans know it stinks. Do you know that apart from Batley away last season, you have hardly won a match with this bloke reffing. He is one crafty operator, who does not appear to be a fan of Leigh at all. He may not have penalised you heavily when you played Fev at home, but I think they would have been well chuffed with his performance. They stood with you virtually all night and hardly conceded any penalties. Contrast that with your visit to Fev. Oh yes and what was it that a panic stricken Mr. Hewer said to John Fallon after he had just knocked Watson's head off in the first half? I' ll give you the benefit of the doubt John!!! So generous. Contrast this with what happened to Hobson in the away match (subsequently found not guilty). I really cannot believe you Leigh fans are so nice and tolerant. Do you think all this is just bad luck? Maybe it would be if it happened once in a while or one particular season to one particularly naughty Leigh team. However, this is not the case. It has been happening for years at home and away. It stinks. The Batley match was yet another example of it. Funny how Fev conceded more penalties in one match on their other TV appearance, than they have in two matches against Leigh. You can be kind to officials and defend them and I can understand putting the blame with the players at times, in order to be professional, but surely you, the supporters must see that the whole thing is bent.

We are not sixth in the table because of a refereeing conspiracy against us.

Overall, the best teams are at the top and the poorer teams are at he the bottom.
Given that we are at the bottom of the fair play league, its amazing we are doing as well as we are since we like to make it hard for ourselves as is possible.

Nobody is saying that that is the case . Nobody is talking about playing standards. We are discussing refereeing performances here. We are also not just discussing this season . I am going back much much much further. During this period Leigh have won several trophies. However, I still maintain that there is an agenda against Leigh. I could give you evidence that would really surprise you. We tend to forget incidents from the past, but when it is all collated and put together , it really is startling. As I have said, Leigh have won trophies during the period I am talking about. So what. That is not the point. The success has been achieved despite reffing performances. My point is that Leigh consistently get a VERY raw deal from refs. I do not care if your team is bottom of the entire Rugby League, it is still wrong. Have a chat with Martin Crompton. His team have not exactly been very successful of late, but it does not stop them being constantly frustrated by refs. Most players these days, play the game honestly, even if they do not have much talent. I am afraid the same cannot be said of refs. Choose to ignore this if you wish, but it really does stink. I am not at all concerned about refs missing the odd forward pass or knock on etc. Nobody expects them to be perfect. However, when they are consistently giving a team NOTHING for many many years, I do not buy this at all as being remotely fair.

Not just the refs but some of the touch judges are has bad if not worse !
