As I said on another thread.. Your attendance was appalling considering that there were a ton of free tickets in the west stand?? All we have to worry about is our performances you've got a lot more problems to solve

Agree about our own crowd, but it's the lowest following that Widnes have brought in years. Would go as far to say we brought more for a 6pm Thursday kick off at your place t'other year, and that was to watch a Darren Shaw team!

You won that last night!

I think if you go on our board and look at the thread we were expecting a following of between 100 - 300. Not sure how many we took as it is always hard to gauge when you are in the same stand but it couldn't be anymore than that if we even reached it.

250 tops, I'd have said. Big loss of revenue from our point of view as another 600+ people, as you've brought in the past, would have been a nice boost to the coffers.

I thought the club did something else to promote the game then give free tickets, Widnes can obviously teach Leigh a lot about givring free tickets away being the most generous club in this area.

Your support was pathetic and no matter how bad Leigh have been playing over any season we would never of taken anything less than double the number Widnes brought last night.

From what I've been hearing Widnes have a lot more problems off the field than your teams on field perfomances,not a happy club at all at present.

To make a statement, you should be boycotting the home games not the away games, that doesn't make sense.....

Ha ha... I'm sure all the kids in the South West section of the game and the additional 50 cheerleaders that you sat there to make it look busy obviously bought tickets..
We do occasionally give out free tickets.. of course we do.. but look at our attendances when we do.. 6k.. and I think we might have got 8k for the Salfud game a championship attendance record... Our attendances without are still decent despite this little slump that we are in.

Last night's Widnes following wasn't great.. we've all admitted that.. but it's a bit like people in glass houses throwing stones considering your own abysmal home attendance even taking into account the rain and sky.. Like I said worry about that and not about us.

We're not doing well but we've identified clear problems that would account for that and it's going to be a hell of a lot easier to put right than you trying to pull another two thousand fans out of your booty!!

If you decide that you are going to pick and choose your games which one do you attend..

A home game on your doorstep for which you probably have a season ticket or an away game for which you have to pay the princely sum of £16 to gain entry and remortgage our second homes to buy a beer and a pie!!
