Eunice seems to have largely passed the North by (sympathies to the friends and families of the three southern folk that died by her hand). High winds less of an issue tomorrow than previously worried about. However said lady did seem to piddle all over the place (there was even snow on the turrets of Bongser Towers as the castellan awoke earlier).
The turf on The Towers' tilting ground is on the soft side of good to soft - still possible to play polo rather than water polo.
Football matches off due to waterlogging today include those at Bradford PA (30 miles from York) and Harrogate (19). Not been to the new York stadium (and that isn't going to change tomorrow) but will hope for goodish going and so have just posted a prediction on Superleigh of York 10-32 Leigh.
Keep the faith.
Leigh by 22 Bongser.?A bit of wishful thinking here or have you been indulging of the CBD gummies.?The weather in Blackpool is very wet and windy , and had snow yesterday so it will be a wonder for good to soft , I’m forecasting heavy . The Carolis visit a log cabin each year in Selby near York , I love the place , but won’t be there today , I’m expecting a very hard , close game , and forecast a Leigh win by 6 , I’m hoping for another Nene try , maybe a couple from Hitchcox as I have them both in my Fantasy teams . I your good self is well ,they tell me Peroni is better than CBD , though as I’m teetotal what do I know .?a keep smiling .
No surprises here Derek , well maybe Nisbet in the second row , but Lammy must feel the lad is capable ,and he does has some size , I thought Ipape might be given time to acclimatise , but again Lammy knows what he’s doing . I think the last time we played at York we lost 7-6 ,in similar wet condition ,at Bootham Crescent,I’ve said previous I expect a very close tight game ,Leigh by 6.

Can’t get the radio York commentary in Canada due to contractual reasons. Strange as I’ve had no problem with BBC radio up to now on the internet. Live score updates it is

4-6 at halftime. I see us pulling away in the second half (but have nothing but blind hope to base that on since I can’t get commentary) but it looks more like this is another case of Charlie Knows. (Which will do for me )
4-40 That is quite the second half demo job. Seems we are a fit team, with a coach that can make adjustments needed at halftime. Each game we have been able the get on top in the second half (even Fev to some degree though not enough to turn it around). Also seems Ben Reynolds had a decent game all around according to live scores. He is returning from a serious injury and it seems he and Mellor may be starting to click. I look forward to reading a game report and any opinions of anyone who was able to travel. Onward and upward

Sounded an impressive victory playing the conditions better and higher level of skill and fitness. Good signs against a team that will go well against most this season.
Col to say I’m pleasantly surprised is an understatement , I’m so happy I was proved wrong , as you rightly say what do I know .?NOWT . The second half again shows what a fit side we are , I didn’t go today , but the commentator seemed impressed with the Reynolds , Mellor pairing which is great , considering the stick Ben has taken , and Ipape sounded like he fitted in well , onwards and upwards as they say .
