i have no idea whats going on and never suggested that i did some leigh speccies have always seen one thing reported the other usually third/fourth hand

No! I stand by my point, if we have sponsors or directors not wanting to support our club then IMHO this is not good and a statement should be issued to stop rumours starting.

You are correct, we cant afford to lose anyone.

However, if the sole owner chooses to walk away, by liquidation, then its all but game over, as has happened to us previously,sponsors leaving pales in comparison so i asked for clarification.Is it the final decision of one man or a gang of them as when the co was originally formed Grainey, Starbug et al as to what our strategy is. please enlighten me i am keen to apologise



Things have moved on since this topic started. we have had the statement. more than one person given our previous experience thought DB was walking away

Statement released.

-Haggerty appears to be staying as coach for now.

-2 aussies secured and on the way (no names/time frame yet)

-‘GM’ and ‘Head of Rugby’ selected and names to be released soon.

-New addition to operational board to be announced later today.

-Plan is still to be a sustainable SL club regardless of what happens this season.

Seems Derek (and the club) are far from calling it a day. Exactly the opposite in fact.
