Personally I think that if it doesn't work out for PR, he will leave the club forever.

I thought someone said he had not signed a contract if that is the case surely they would not need to pay him out.

I know what's been said but why would anyone not sign a contract? It's ridiculous. If he'd not signed a contract he'd have been out the door without stopping to collect £200.

if he didnt sign a contract but accepted the wages - as he obviously did - then it is taken that the contract has been accepted.

Well - I'm not too impressed - we are not giving people enough time in charge, for me it's about time that the Board appointed someone and then gave them a season before firing - the buck stops with the Board - they wanted Abram, Benson, Kelly - and people will easily be able to argue that they were poor choices/not good enough.

It has been rumoured that Paul Rowley undermined previous coaches and had a negative influence - was it true? - well anyway now is his chance to take the team forward and at the end of the day he will be judged by the results and final league table etc - If he isnt good enough then he should go at the end of the season.

I do think though that Leigh have tried to save face - and I don't agree that we need a Director of Rugby and Coach for a Part Time team -I'm not having it

But we'll have to see - if it turns out that Rowley does not improve the team and that Kelly does very little then the buck stops with the Board.

So here's hoping for a massive improvement!

Strange one, must admit can't think of many clubs that would have replaced Neil Kelly as head coach with Paul Rowley.

Seems crazy to have constant change and upheaval in the coaching department every single season.

Yeah I think PR has taken a lot of stick on this board. TBH I've never been his biggest fan but I wish him all the luck in the world and hope and pray that he can make a success of his new job. I think everyone should just cut him some slack and give him the chance to prove himself - or not as the case may be.

Sorry Frank don't get your drift, a few have answered your question how many truths do you want? or are you awaiting for someone to put the rumours and call that the truth, like what usually happens on here.

A good leader delagates, who picks the team at Salford? who picks the team at Widnes? not the director of Rugby thats for sure.

Alot is being read into all of this.

But, we clearly we need a coach focused only on coaching and we need an "uber-lord" to deal with all the other c**p so we don't end up with any more signing/non-signing fiascos like the Williams saga, so that the club playing staff are all looked after properly, that we can be co-ordinated through out the club blah blah and that the younger players we have coming through can fit into the first team quickly.

Right now the two best people to do those jobs are PR and NK.
