Because VL asked about Riddy on this post, was answering him about his query seeing as he is in Vancouver and doesn't get to see many games lol and if you read my opening post again you will see I gave an opinion on numerous players from the Salford game not just Riddy.

Well I returned from my winter spell down Christchurch, eager as I was to get to our first pre season run out at Salford.

Ridyard was about as effective as Sammat on Saturday in that both were poor. Reynolds not much better, unable to execute, starting this year exactly how he has finished every other year. Yes it was a frendly.

It is well documented I am a huge Ridyard fan, a very talented player, but Wayne is right, sadly time is catching up with him and his best days are long gone. I actually doubt Ridyard has any place in Duffy's plans this year, Duffy petulantly stripping him of his custonary number 6 shirt in his testimonial year. Proof that opportunities will be far and few inbetween if ever any proof was actually needed.

Geez, I get ripped to bits for giving my opinion and along comes Harold ( who's opinion I respect immensely, even though we don't always agree) and everything is OK again. Why don't you disagree with Harold for having the same opinion as me.

Think the post says the injections were last season Atomic.
As for Riddy, i am glad to here that he looks in better shape. Time will tell but for now if he’s not first choice I think many Champ teams would love to have a backup of his quality and experience.

wayne, you seem to be the stand out guy who has show in the past a dislike for Ridy when you was the publican I do read these forums, harold hasnt shown his dislike.

I can see whats happening here, the club have made ridy part time and making up his money through his testimonial and then wanted him to take part in some coaching role foc. disgraceful if you ask me. so what should we expect from him after being treated like that.
