Every club applying knew they were the terms BEFORE they applied.

It's too late to complain about that now.

You shouldn't have applied, nor should you have been selected. TO and Fev were miles ahead of you.

Every top champ team year on year will normally best the poorest SL team. Leigh themselves have done it against Salford and Huddersfield in recent years. Totally different that week on week SL campaign.

Time will tell long term if taking this opportunity was the wrong decision. Could depend if it has given us some financial advantage for next season. At moment we don’t know either way. A lot of our players have gained SL experience and improved we need to secure those for 2022.

After last nights Wigan result and performance and if the Doc does come and increases the spending power, then I wonder in Ian Thronley has considered if he made the right decision?

Didnt all clubs applying know that and money hasnt been the issue for you guys.i havent had ago at your club i simply said having this season in sl has done you many favours.you will lose some of your best players like hood and now you will needto rebuild again which even if you get the drs money(lets face it didnt do owt with salford)can take time you may of now been challaging for place in sl where you would of had longer to prepare had you gained opposed to the few weeks you had this year.

Yesi said you didnt deserve to be in sl cos if your honest the performances on the pitch the season before covid didnt , its fair to say featherstone should of been in as losing million pound game to toronto

You produce more sheeite than a herd of cows with runs. Fev will be lucky to be alive next season after TO win the promotion spot. You even seem to forget Fev came below Leigh in the League placings 2019, but Leeds reserves helped out in the play offs when others were depleted. So Leigh finished above Fev in 2019 and would have rattled 50 past em in 2020.
Team building is well under way, even to those who dont want to see it. We are building a formidable team for the Championship or a competitive team for SL - whichever call we get. Stone, Whitbread and Tomkins is the bones of a great pack. Mellor will run the show and hopefully we keep Bell(if off quota) and Brierley. Can see Eaves on a full season here next year and 1-2 Aussie centres, as the UK have none of quality available.
Great times for a well run club who helped the SL out this year and got shafted for the favour

St Helens rumoured to be strongly interested in James Bell who is our stand out player at 13 & just proven himself handy at 6 too !
Wigan have signed 2 for next season, Wakey have signed our Captain & stand out Hooker Liam Hood & want our stand out Prop, Salford have signed 2. Huddersfield took 2 of ours including an Ex NRL/SOO prop & shafted us, we got 1 of the 2 agreed in return ..... thanks Honest Ken !

In truth we are about 75% Championship & 25% Super League on squad levels.

The title of this thread is 'Losing Our Best Players'

As far as I'm concerned they are Championship grade apart from 1 or 2 and they are just mediocre SL players. They've just gone over to France for a Bank Holiday. DB puts his money in and this is how they repay him. They are just whiling away the days to the end of the season before they
move on to their new clubs. This is how it is always going to be as the RFL have deemed most clubs cannot have an Academy team. The RFL have killed the game for the majority of clubs. All we can ever expect playing for Leigh are journeymen as we aren't allowed by the RFL to grow our own talent, and it is home-grown talent who will bust a gut and play with pride for their hometown team. This lot won't. Rugby League is in a sad state of affairs and it's god help them when SKY pull the plug in 2 years time. All we can do is stay solvent for that day.

No the sheetie as you put it is what you have produced all season with 1 lousey win.yes you really did deserve a place in sl didnt you.still your use to obe season at a time and no you wony get promoted nexr year there will be teams above you even if theres promotion which i wouldnt count your chickens on
