I’d be surprised if the majority are not already done and dusted - with the announcements to coincide with the ST launch, which surely has to be imminent, very late in the day this as a lot of people probably go for a 2 month direct debit option

The Winter Fuel Allowance is due for those of us over a certain ag. Most people spread the cost of fuel over equal direct debits and are not likely to need extra bags of firewood so I suggest they treat it as a Government Season Ticket allowance with a bit left over to help buy the children a club shirt. (Any complaints remind them Santa plays in same colours)

According to League Express today, Kopczak is not leaving Wakefield. He is still under contract.

Of course, if he lives over the right side of the Pennines, a daily trek over to the Dark Side must be very wearing. He could justifiably claim travel-weariness, homesickness, or even that he's had an offer from Australia, to wangle his way over here!

I could only hazard a guess as to the going rate for a top player for Leigh RLFC and how much pro rata per game, but the feeling is that the rise from the 2019 season is extremely excessive.
