The moment O’Donnell was announced I was excited. Aikens has become a vital part of our attack line and if often the link from the halves to the back line. Smith has been solid and has never let us down, plus he has consistently improved.

I would be very happy with all three if they are confirmed.

Fantastic news!! Lam is off the quota and would Aekins be off the quota as he is playing for Wales? I'm not sure but someone may enlighten me. Hope so. Aekins try was absolute class and one of the best this season.

You need to have done 3 years at a European club before you stop qualifying for U21's to be non-quota.



Looks like Lam did 3 years at St Pats as a kid. Don't think Aekins has any youth experience over here.

Bit sad about that has been solid and was one of best in SL last year bit puzzled did we make an offer or did Salford step before we were promoted. Need 4 or 5 props next year.

I've heard rumours about him going to Salford as well as rumours about signing an extension at Leigh.

Hi All, new to the forum.

Is the club going to do the same as previous years and let players be announced elsewhere and not at least say thanks for all they have done for Leigh.

The majority of the squad including fringe players and confirmed absences next year were at LSV "to troll the jolly bowl around" after the MPG and receive the deserved adulation from fans. Feel that that will stay with them longer than any amount of well-intentioned flannel on social media.



Welcome to the forum Omega99, we could do with some more chat.

Now that the season has ended why are the club the still delaying the announcement of players signed for next season? Very frustrating for fans and just leads to negative social media. Having secured a place in Super League we should be pushing publicity and promotion of the club if we want to see crowds of 7000 to 8000 next season, particularly with the World Cup about to happen on our doorstep.
