Ok then, lets look at it another way.

For those who are moaning about it.......who would you sign on loan and why?

If he'd leave Harlequins, Mick Nannyn, proven points scorer in this environment, and we do need a centre urgently (and a 6 if the visa doesn't come through fast)

Thornley (Ian?) from Wigan, Davies, and Mossop from Wigan, thats the five we would be allowed (we already have Haggy on a loan contract)-the good thing about loanees from Wigan (Im informed - again not from our club or should I say NOT FROM OUR CLUB for those who appear to have selective dyslexia with my posts) is that Wigan pay their wages but they get any bonuses from the loanee club, but they have to be played in the first team.
If we couldnt get any one/two of the above then Flanagan or Farrell from Wigan.
They have a number of first team forwards coming back from injury further pushing these youngsters out.
All are bursting a gut to get first team football, Wigan want them at a local club to monitor their training and the lads themselves don't want to travel far.

Not a great fan of loanees myself, well not short term ones unless its to cover for injuries, as it can disrupt the borrowers side, but if needs must.
