Well i hope sam is getting good advice, i would suggest he would get far more game time at either wolves/saints, rather than at wigan. As for the dr situation somebody said without bigger crowds than 1500 we would struggle, well sheffield manage to do ît, and rather well too may i add.
The same question was recently asked at Halifax's meeting about the big secret thing, " How do sheffield Manage to do what they do on the crowds they have ?."
Karl Harrison and the BOD answered that Mark Aston is a very good coach and has a very good team around him and the support of the council, As they are a City in what is classed as expansion area they get excellent grants and support enabling them to compete and sometimes outcompete with recruitment and retention etc. The only downfall for Sheffield IMHO is the fac they are HOBO's with no real ground of their own and when playing in big football venues or Don valley the atmosphere is terrible and its better playing Rugby League 3 on the Nintendo Wii than it is trying to see what the hells going on on the pitch.
Unless Leigh are planing on upping sticks and moving to another area unfortunatly you will not get grants and help due to Wigan being on the doorstep.
