Because Ben is not the answer.Apart from only a handful of games under his belt for 2015,the current squad in terms of experience is way above his current level of play.

Although I do agree we don't need Rangi from a playing point of view, at the end of the day it is still a business and Rangi's inclusion would increase marketing,corporate,sponsorship and most of all attendances.

The club is striving to get an equilibrium,but that is always going to come at a cost of something.

Don't see that happening. Don't think we'd release three players who were regally first team players and played very well last season not even to fit in another player especially a player who'd be an unneeded luxury (a very welcome luxury but a luxury none the less.)

Agree with that but think we should leave Reynolds at Dewsbury. If we do need him he'll be better prepared having played regally for a good team rather than having just sat in the stand.

You have parity with the rest of the clubs in your league, the Championship. Allowing you to spend to the SL cap would devalue that competition.

The simple solution to all this would be to revert to one up one down promotion/relegation.

Only trouble is a 1/4 of our fixtures are against clubs spending £1.8m, so the parity is the equivalent SL salary cap. Then you willl have a true end of season middle 8's.

I must admit ,I always liked Kurt,and I thought he was a skilful forward, however it's obvious some players had to leave to fit into the SC the signing of others, will Kurt be the last to leave?Probably not.
