In a newpaper article dated 1st March 2009, Williams says his number one priority remains boxing. That in theory would have solved all this crap, then if he does'nt get clearance its the only way he is'nt coming to Leigh.

But on another thread someone explains the visa and sponsor ship regqirements perhaps you (and others) should take a look at this before making themselves look complete idiots.

I agree Neil should have waited until the guy was here and wearing the shirt but some people will try and get any political capital they want for their own ends, whatever that is, some of the posts on here are laughable in their naivety if they think that the RFL would offer to sponsor a player who doesn't want to come or that the border control agency would even conider a visa application submitted by a third person.
