So what?? Players come and go - fans remain!! I can't believe you're dishing abuse to your own fans, hell i'd be absolutely gutted if we'd lost at home in a play off semi.

I thought with it being the last game more would have stayed, to say goodbye to the ones leaving and to say thanks for all the good times, Im sure if Sheffield had lost , their fans would have stayed and clapped the efforts of their team.

I think all that was done after the Toulouse game.

Yes they are , dont forget , your RL club is for life , not just Xmas

And as ' gutted ' as they feel you still thank the players for their endeours through what has been an entertaining season

I wonder if the Gateshead fans all left before the end of their last game of the season ?

However I had my 10 year old nephew with me who I had to drop off in Bickershaw (he is in school today) before driving home to Appley Bridge so that my son could catch a train to join his friends in Manchester. What did you have to get back to?

I paid £48 quid for the tickets last night and over the years have spent tens of thousands sponsoring, investing in and supporting the various guises of Leigh RL.

I also played the game for many years and have the creaking joints to show for it so I know what it takes to pull on a shirt and take the field.

So don't criticise me when you don't know me.

You are not the only person who has put their money where their mouth is so stop behaving like it.

Steve, I really dont get your point here, the 1800 or whatever fans in the ground are the real fans. The ones who pay to watch, the ones in the pub or at home by choice are the ones sending the club into oblivion.
I nearly went with 5 or so to go but decided to stay and say goodbye, I do not blame anyone who paid and left early.
