That's about a dozen plus of the 2017 squad who are now said/rumoured to be leaving. Whilst most of them are players who I wouldn't necessarily be disappointed to see go, I have an unease about starting virtually afresh, with a mostly new squad. I guess some continuity would have been of benefit? That said of course, some of the newcomers could well be an improvement on those leaving. Here's hoping so. Also, the pleasing aspect of the signings announced so far, is that they are all young players.
As for the coaching set up, I just have a feeling that Neil and Keiron, (Purtill) assisted by the other Keiron, might be a better combination. Totally without any inside knowledge, I just think that Paul Cooke may have been a 'strong influence' on matters. As I say, just a gut feeling!
Onwards and upwards
