But I did have Riddy on the pitch.

Personally I don’t think Martyn’s returned to us quite the player he was when he left. That said he was (is) still our best half back option this season, up to the signing of Brown, whom I know has to prove himself for us but will hopefully begin to show his pedigree.

The problem we have now is the play-offs are almost upon us and we have little to no time to experiment.

In reality it’s highly likely will not gain promotion, we don’t seem to have s game plan that will achieve that regardless of who plays ! If I’m right, why bother with Kevin Brown anyway ? apparently, he won’t be with us next season if rumours are to be believed!
By playing Brown now, we may just rock the boat and, we all know what happens to a rocking boat !

Probably won't get promoted..But thats not the point Kirky. They are still in the competition and thats what should be focused on. Not experimenting so late in the day. Its not down to us why players haven't been selected or where he plays them, thats Duffs job.

If we are not getting promoted why such a censorship on injuries or whatever again.

Correct.............however discussing the team/player/coach etc is one of the main ideas of a fans forum.

Our recent history alone tells us how important recruitment is.We needed bodies after apparently losing our dual reg lads who all did a good job.I wonder if any of them are due to be released.
Did we sign the right ones, at the right cost,for the correct length of time.Hock came and went.If we paid him what fev did,too much.
Are Toronto paying part of AJ Emmitt and Ryans wages.If so, good deal.Are any of them better players now than when they left.If so keep em at the right cost,not a q of clubs for them Emmitts had a pit stop off to wherever.
Someone likened Ryan to McGuire.I wish.McGuire showed his play making skills when KR won at Headingly so much so much so Leeds tried to sign him back.
Cas and Salford let Sau and Clark leave early, both would have been on larger contracts.Neither has broke any pots for us.Clark and Brown are just passing through
Reynolds returned and we hand him a contract for this year and next.Seems very generous.
Did we think we had a genuine chance of going up.Did we hear Toronto might not make it one road or another.Did we fall for players agents bluster, again.
Half of Sundays team are gone.Should we have saved the money spent for next year.Sure agents will have been on the dog maybe one or two new faces already signed.Are Derek and Duffs on the first Quantas out after season ends, with a corner of the bar booked at Manchester airport to sign up more returnees from a promoted Toronto looking to offload more players.
Never a dull moment for us leythers.

We are well blessed at half back with various combinations available, however the coach needs to do some work on the basic skill of keeping your eye on the ball and catching the blasted thing.
