I went last night and I wouldn't get rid of Hobson. Yes we missed him last night but also we missed stewart. The ref was a joke last night,i would hate to see the penalty count. Also the featherstone lot are the most biased set of fans i have ever met, they were shouted forward every time we throw the ball and every time we tackled them they were shouting. No wonder they got so many penaltys.I was proud of the lads last night and was pleased that we went
Charlie, I have replied on another thread how well I thought Leigh played last night, and believed would have won but for the actions of Hobson, and some favourable referring towards Fev.
However, biased fans?? I am as objective a bloke as you'll get. In the first half I was stood on the railway end that Leigh were attacking. Everytime Leigh had the ball it was "Gerrem back ref", "let im up them" "head high" etc. When Fev had the ball - the comments were NO DIFFERENT from Fev fans. It happens everywhere - all the time!
We (all RL fans) by nature are very paraochial and insular in our approach to the game and our club, and tend to see the failings of the opposition and ignore the misgivings of our own team. I'm now in my 36th season and at 48 years old, have well grown out of points scoring against opposition fans.
I honestly believe we are all very similar at games and over my many years have not experienced a massive difference in any set attitudinally.
