Away wins for both Leythe & York as punted by all nine (5 pts each on both games). No one presaged a home nilling for The Rams (VL was, with 32, closest to the margin). Two correct margins AGAIN "at Swinton”, this time for Charlie & Atomic. 20 more points shared equally ‘twixt the two. Bravi!
To Odsal! Eight collected 5 apiece for foreseeing Bradford prevailing over ‘Fax. Dare to be Different Dan, yet again dared to be different. Damn!
Should this competition go into a third season, Bongser is thinking of introducing The “Idiot” Bonus. Should anyone dare to differ from everyone else AND BE THE ONLY ONE CORRECT on any winner or time capsule they would, further to their other winnings take points away from all others in attendance and claim them for themselves. The term Idiot Bonus is inspired by Orwell’s definition (in “1984”?) of an idiot merely being a minority of one. Will do a “skew study” based on this seasons pred's and put the number of stolen points out for approval.
So as we head into the final match where high flying Fev hosted low lying Barrow, there was unity amongst us on a Rovers win and seven Pokemons still on including no less than four Jokermons. But there’s usually a bl00dy fly in the ointment (that being why Pokemons score so highly). Barrow were this week’s fly (applause to them). Nul points to all, no Pokemons, no Jokermons. But Leigh go two points ahead of Fev and reduce the previously gaping points difference deficit by 62 to a mere 35. Up into third for The Centurions. No sour grapes here and probably mucho relief for EVVO & Atomic.
The no win/ no win scenario for Wanderer (especially after a one point defeat for Donny inflicted by the “Donner”).

All of which means that Chayders narrowly (by 3 points) misses out on a successive WWB, ceded to B&B, the stuffy, jammy git!
