Been told today a guy who was called alan,dont know last name,but nickname worzel gummage who use to go watching leigh sometimes taking his dog was found dead today,if its true and its who i think it is i personally am gutted coz i knew the guy years,always spoke to me when i saw him in athy

I hope it isnt the case.

One hell of a character was Alan, and I didn't half used to wind him up in my Academy days.

Lets hope its a rumour.

Is it the same guy that used to be on the door of the mick martyn bar in the 80's?? Cos we used to call him worzel cos of his long scruffy hair, if i remember correctly he wore glasses too
