Flitcroft isn't going to collect a wage (he's loaded anyroad ) but I believe he will have a certain budget to work with that has been provided by some investors who prefer to stay in the dark for the time being. As for playing at the LSV, it's about bloody time

Brad Fitler "If the ref's decision decides your game. You haven't done enough prior."

Referees are like women, they make snap decisions and never reverse them.

Hard to believe this but hats off to him if true.

I think he will be fighting a losing battle against relegation and the fate of LG could be known before consecutive home games against Buxton and Matlock (followed by promotion hopefuls BPA at home).

If they dont get 5 points from Cammel Laird,Boston and North Ferriby then I feel the writings on the wall for them. Lets hope they can get 6 though from relegation rivals Cammel Laird and Boston and just maybe the Buxton and Matlock fixtures will become more important as they are both too fighting against relegation.

Good Luck in the battle

He admitted on the press conference on Monday that he doesn't need the money and is happy to manage the club in order to get summat on his CV - think it helped that his advisor is a Leyther and, being Bolton-based, he won't have to do much travelling for training and the like compared to some of the managers in this league.

A good old saying is that footballers spend 90 minutes pretending they are injured. Rugby players spend 80 minutes pretending their not. Also there is no such thing as bad weather only the wrong clothes.

His brother (David) is assistant manager at Rochdale, who are going great guns in League Two so we've already signed Raph Evans on loan from them, and he was pretty impressive at centre back on Tuesday night.

Maybe a case of a few weeks too late to have a real chance of staying up, but it'll prove to be good experience for the youngsters ahead of a big season next year.
