Season Ticket disaster : Fri Apr 24, 2009 4:11 pm  

Having bought a season ticket in good faith with Sunday games in mind travelling from Ireland to the games, its now seems a complete waste with so many games being played on a Thursday for Sky. Its nice to see leigh getting national coverage, but its been a disaster travelling to games. I think there's a home game on a Sunday in June! Looks like Batley away.

Why cant games be televised on a Saturday?

Because of the clash with permier league football, Thursday is the only logical day when the national leagues can be screened.

we only have two home games on sky, how is that "so many"?

All I can say is that if you live in Ireland and bought a season ticket you deserve a medal

If it's any consolation I live about 3 miles from the ground and have only been to 2 games where I've had the need to use my ST. The way I look at it it's put money into the club, and that's good enough for me.

We've all put money in for year (well many of us).

If the product we were putting on the pitch was worth me putting my hand in my pocket I'd still be going every week but at the moment I don't feel it is.

Whatever the reasons are behind that I don't know (players, coaches, board, LSV) but until that improves people will continue to stay away.

You can't blame people for watching their money at the moment especially if they don't fell they're getting their money's worth.

The only disaster is that there are people willing to pay money to watch the cr@p you serve up on a weekly basis
