Seriously chaps, but who you PREFER to be coming down to NL1 and why?

I offer the at risk clubs (although we know its gonna be us) otherwise Im sure you will
all put Wigan!

Wakefield
Castleford
Salford
Harlequins
Crusaders

I know who it should be and thats not Wakey.
I personally think that it will be yourselves, but it should be Crusaders or Quins IMHO, both bring less to the table then Cas, Salford or Wakey.
However the RFL dont do fair, do they. They like to string people along, give them false hope.
If it yourselves, I really feel for you guys. Though you will make our league unstable with the extra salary cap allowance and the parachute payments and at the moment we have a really good competative league. You would batter us all with these allowances.

Can't say I have a particular preference, to be honest.

Cas would bring the best away support of the lot. Salford would at least bring us a local derby. Harlequins would be a weekend away. Crusaders wouldn't probably be able to operate at Championship level. Which leaves Wakey, which would be a good day out and have brought a decent following in the past, and in reality are the ones likely to end up here I'm afraid.

Harlequins, the money saved from keeping them afloat can then be shared amongst Championship clubs.

If Toulouse or another French team are not in the Championship next season, we deffo need another weekender away to look forward to. So as a selfish choice it would be Quins.
Nothing against Wakey, but they hardly fill me with excitement if, as its likely it is them that goes down. Wakey was my least fav away trip in 2005 if I'm being honest. The only plus point being our coach dropped us off literally 5metres away from the turnstile

salford may be a local derby , but it would look crap about 3000 in their new ground! If wakey's ground was good enough or they had made a start on a new one they would not be getting the chop IMO

wakey v leyth sounds very good tho ...harlequins/london ( or whatever their name is), celtic crusaders the money drainers of RL wont get demoted RL have put too much money into them and will look stupid if they pull out now

It should be Quins or Crusaders, but it won't be. Unfortunately for Wakey fans, I believe it will be them.
Whoever it is will completely destroy the balance of the division.

That would depend on what perks they are afforded. Even with a big salary cap exemption, Harlequins would face a huge struggle to attract part time players.
