LISA Coaches - Ludicrous Situation No More : Sat Aug 05, 2017 10:00 am  

I have just discovered we have a full LISA coach departing from a town centre pub today.

Finally common sense has prevailed. I will now be ensuring I am a regular traveller on this one in future, albeit to late for today. I can see this new arrangement proving extremely popular once it becomes wider known.

Me and My owd mucker Arthur will be calling in post match to book 2 seats for Warrington. Hopefully we can fill 2 or 3 coaches in the lead up to that game.

Well done to all concerned who have finally listened to me and made this happen for us all.

Nope Col. That was my initial thought also. However I have it on good authority it is LISA organised, and LISA revenue from running it.

Indeed, a lot of work goes in the coach organisation for no individual rewards and deserves a lot of credit - the more money raised the better, and well done to all who contribute

You are both wrong and right Harold , yes a coach did go from the Brittania , yes it was priced and ticketed through LISA , but it was a collaboration

The Landlord at the Brit has used Trafalgar before , but is aware that they normally give LISA 1 st option on their coaches , so he approached us to ask if we Could book a coach leaving from the Brit , we are/were happy to do so as that reduces congestion at the LSV

We are happy to work with anybody who wants to /is able to sell a fullish 90 % coach from a different departure point

I expect the Brittania will be running a coach to Warrington , if so the tickets will be sold at the pub , not at the market

The Brit is running a coach to Warrington though Lisa
If anyone wants to run one from another venue contact me they need to be able to sell a full coach (37 seats up to 51 as the firm have various size of coaches available )

The pubs get fans in for a drink or two before the match , the pub makes revenue and lisa make a little bit which helps the club

Yes the Mayne coach organised by the Centurion Pub had a breakdown at the stadium , unfortunately that can happen to anybody

In what way were they poorly treated by Fev ?

Thanks Steve and Lynda. Yes certainly sounds like a win win situation this.

It should be very appealing to pub land lords desperate for punters. It could also encourage more people to get out of the pub, join their pub 'trip' and watch Leigh.

I wonder if this will appeal to young Rio at the Thomas Burke, or young Toddy at the Boars Head.

In fact when I call in at the Boars on Saturday, I shall enquire.

Toddy runs a mini bus every week anyway and Lisa make nothing out of it but the Tommy Burke could be interested
