Anybody any idea what’s happened to the guy, has he signed for anybody else.

Does he have to be officially signed for someone to run his ban ??

Good questions Col. One or two SL clubs were reported to be interested in him, but presumably weren't impressed at potentially losing him for the first five games. I thought he was still under contract to us, in which case he would serve his ban with us. Maybe after that, interest in him would be revived? He certainly doesn't appear on any of our training photos, so I wonder if he has been training elsewhere? Although it's strange that nobody from other clubs has said anything!

Thought he’d agreed a pay off, pretty certain we won’t be paying his alleged contract that he had last year if he is still with us

Acton agreed a settlement with the club at the end of last season. He still needs to serve the rest of his ban. That will only count from the date his next contract is registered. Even If he takes a year out of the game he would still need to serve the ban with his new club.

Well he will not be going to Widnes. I believe Kieron made it clear to Derek immediately after Acton's last misdemeanour for the club at Post Office Road,he wanted him out regardless of what team we would have in 2019.

Thankfully, He is no longer be our problem.

Wouldn't have thought John Duffy would have wanted him, after his reaction to Jamie's sin binning in that last Fev game!

He wouldn't if he switched codes.
