Listened back to the coverage via the internet on the way back from Wembley and found it extensive by a commentary led by Trevor Hunt, especially the last hour between 5 and 6, which included a phone in that had delerious Leigh fans expressing their delight and excitement, with only passing reference to the dreaded soccer matches!!
And today they are covering the VIctory parade from 2pm.

Makes a change from the BBC, who as per usual and despite carrying the live broadcast appear to have abandoned it from the sport homepage and nothing on the red button

A big up to Granada Reports as well, plenty of coverage beforehand, Lucy Meacock said she’d wear leopard print if we win and kept her word - headline news again today with Josh and Kai on

BBC North West had Josh and Michael Latham on with the cup after Granada, bigging up that they are leading the sport section with Rugby League, like they deserve a medal for it.

Still, nice media blitz going on.
