We're a bit short on forwards again with all injuries we have. Need to sign at least 4 big forwards for 2025 to make any impact on top 4 places in SL. It's forwards who win matches.

20 man squad, including a player that has been recalled from Widnes shows how much down to the bare bones we are now.
Seems we have injuries to Asiata, Mulhern, Davis, Nakubuwai, Brogan, Rothwell, Brand, O'Brien and Gannon. Good job Holmes is back, otherwise we'd have a hooker and two outside backs on the bench.

We are doing it the hard way that is for sure, big game for the pack today controlling the middle and Jack Hughes is made for that.
Be a very tough ask but with a week off next week we can afford to push Amone and Ipape and Trout for big minutes, Holmes can also do long spells for a bit of continuity.

A wise old coach said to me ,forwards get you to finals half backs win them, let’s hope we have a blistering pack next year

Play like we did against Hudds and we will get stuffed. Play like we did against Salford and we stand a chance. We have to play this game like play-off rugby, cos if we lose I can't see us catching the top 6

We were poor. I thought that we never looked like scoring today.

Just one or two injuries and players playing out of their normal position (in this team) and one or two sub standard SL squad players coming in and all attacking threat goes out of the window.

Very disappointing because KR were there for the taking

Agreed Jack. We just wasn't clinical when we needed to be. Our completion rate was poor also.
Lammy did say we had 4 players carrying niggles.
I think this break has come at a good time for us. My glass is still half full though.

Agreed Cokey. All is not lost but it makes this defeat all the more painful.

We can and do play some breathtaking rugby at times. This afternoon was however dire.

I sense and feel Lammy senior's pain.

You were beaten by a superior team. Even the attempted cripple tackle by you 9 couldn’t touch Rovers. Had the ref not been so bias it would have been 24 NIL.
