I guess it depends on how he settles in, it maybe that he/we wanted a 1 year deal to see if he could settle in the country, alternatively he see's us as a stepping stone.

I can't say whether I am happy or not about it as until we see him play, we don't really know whether it will work out for both parties. What I can say is I hope he has a stormer and both parties reassess and sign him for a longer stint.
