Amazing that Thelwis doesnt yet seem to know if he would be moving in the Giants statement yet Newcastle have confirmed it.

Sorry to see Joe go as one of the most improved players since joining Giants. Would rather he stayed but understand that he wishes to test himself in the NRL. Wish him all the best for his exciting new opportunity down under. Thanks for all he has done with the Giants and will watch out for him in future with interest.

Another Thewlis belter. Newcastle already announced him with Brown commenting on what a good addition he will be next year. Glad Mamo is finally over the line but for gods sake! Yes Richard, Mamo is good news but the bad news regarding Wardle does not disappear into the ether just because you refuse to acknowledge what you clearly know to be fact already. just be HONEST or at least pay us the courtesy of saying something which is not instantly discredited.

What a complete utter clown ! Makes himself look stupid suppose there is a lot of synergy between us and Newcastle ! He could have added that we are also scouring the market for the top class prop and hooker we also need.

You are making assumptions that thewlis knows - it sounds like he gave wardle permission to make arrangements and perhaps hes leaving the decision up to Joe....... oh and joes family who have got to leave jobs/schools/homes....

What nonesense? Is it nonesense that the club should say iits up to you if you wish to go or not. Club can't win- usually the moaning is about "getting rid" of a player
