Things just got even tougher with Tui and Hill banned for this game. cogger also out but expecting Fages back so likely he wouldn't have been playing anyway.
We are now without three first choice props in Hill, Seb and I'm presuming English still out. Not sure what's happening with trout - was it HIA or something else?
so golding to fullback with AOB on the bench or will he stay as exchange hooker and senior at fullback, putting leroy somewhere in the backline now that wardle is back either way its going to cut down our attack, which has been pretty poor the last three games as we lose some kicking prowess.
Two sides playing badly its likely to not be pretty, and on sky too. We go into this low on confidence, and we need a win and a good one to go into the semi with. Lose and we could drop to 8th. win and we stay in the top few. Wakey also need a boost as they had a good patch where they were promising but seem to have gone backwards. In recent times they have performed well against us on their own patch.
I will be on my jollies for this one, I'm kind of glad.

well Levi, Trout and English are all named in the squad - so its looking better than hoped. Wakeys pack have been struggling and if fifita is first game back could be struggling with match fitness.
AOB not in the squad but George Roby is. so its still whether he goes with Innes FB with goulding as bench cover, or goulding at FB.
why not give george a go, hes got to get one sometime and against wakey is as good a time as any!

a strong wakefield squad. They seem to have a few back a lot of creativity there in Lino miller and gaskell. Johnstone always scores against us (IF he actually plays!!!) it seems. I wonder if they didn't want to risk Fages as tried to appeal Cogger ban and it's backfired

doubt it - Its not how Watson seems to do things. Fages would have played against wire if not for the extended HIA rules and the short turn round.
If Leeds werent such dirty s**ts in that earlier game cogger wouldnt even have been playing!

I hope we don’t put all our eggs in one basket. A loss would put us out of the playoff spots. With our two other best players out in hill and tui, arguably the player who’s made us tick the most this season so far, we cannot afford to not have Levi out there especially with AOB not in the squad. The fact AOB isn’t in the squad suggests to me Watson doesn’t agree with you. He wouldn’t put Roby in at hooker for his first game for 80 minutes.
Ashton has said he’s playing fullback.
