Jools here again........defending the indefensible........insisting everyone declares the best team lost......because that's her opinion.... ....and she's always right..........top and bottom........you lost to a Cas team that should have been beaten.......you lost because your star man couldn't keep his discipline............fortunately you seem to have found a decent player in mamo...........but that won't make up for the Bradford 7 or however many you signed...........be plenty ready to pinch him at the end of the season so enjoy him while you can ...............

I'm not going to get drawn into the other points as I've no time for arguments, I think both teams bring something to the table but anyway, I thought I'd compare attendances over the last few years.

I think it shows both teams have a similar core home support and regardless of on the pitch performance, will always have 5-6k willing to turn up.

What they bring is more supporters than you and hotbed of talent something you wouldn't know about.
We are renound for our junior development (yes lots move on) but we bring so many players through the ranks into professional RL its unreal.
When we were in the 2nd division we were getting the same crowds as you lol
You bring no travelling fans to away games either.

Can you not count. Yes this season and last you had more support- but not really surprising given our relative positions in the table. But if you look at figures previous to that as I said not much different. If you were where we have been the last two years would you be getting over 7000? Nah.
So what you are saying is that apart from the last two years your crowds in SL were the same as they were in the 2nd (that doesn't exist) division? Hardly anything to crow about then Is it?
Renowned for your junior development- yet they don't want to stay at Cas. If it's not such a tinpot club why would they move on? Such a massive hotbed of rugby league compared to Huddersfield- but yet can't persuade the talent to stay at the club. All those many cas products playing for England.... oh hang on.... but Cas isn't tinpot.

Making statements doesn't make them true.
If your club is so wonderful -why are you still skulking round on this board a week after we played you? strange behaviour........

dont think many clubs can match our crowd increase ... wasnt we playing infront of 100's 25-30 years ago??

what were other clubs getting in those days...?? they will have carried on coming and passing it down to generations to come along too, we missed a generation of fans on this score
