Next to No prep time on the busiest week of the RL calendar, the champions, a trip to Catalan three days later for a bottom table clash, and followed by the LL, all with a massive injury list, and to top it all his Missus has given Birth to a son today.

How do you mean next to no prep time? How longs he been at the club? Maybe take a while if he's got the intention to change the way we play but he's nothing to lose with the next 2 games so let them play open rugby and put himself in with a shot at taking over permanently. We'll see what happens on Friday.

way too nice as a club, can see it in the players

john kear i believe was shocked when he saw the difference in the clubs cultures when coming from sheffield with his lot

Mal Reilly said something similar in his autobiography. Too nice to win anything.

I’d go further - they lack the courage to try to win. Frightened of failure, which guarantees you’ll fail.

Would you rather play nice rugby and continue to lose more than you win? Or play it tough but unpleasant and win more?

Do you have that luxury?

In the unlikely event of Michael Mcguire esq being appointed our new coach my season ticket would be returned first class post,if i wanted to watch wrestling i would go to wwf ,if i wanted to watch arm wresting i would go to my local,i want to be entertained and so do a lot of other people by attractive winning rugby as provided not long ago by Nathan Browns team ,it is possible to have both

Break the bank and bring in Maguire. He might coach wrestlemania but he gets results and would sort out those that aren't giving 100%.

Maguire made it clear to Warrington that he would not return to the UK in any circumstances. No disrespect, but I doubt if he'd change his mind for the Giants.

What we had under Anderson was a team who thought that offloading meant helping out when the brewery wagon turned up.

How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin.

Agree, the players who were generally deemed good enough pre-season to finish mid-table and, if I remember correctly, you seemed to think that this squad was good enough for 6th position. The team has, quite frankly, been awful so far this season and Rick Stone has been unable to get them to perform to the standard of which we think they are capable - even allowing for the injuries beyond his control. Much as I like him as a person, he had to go.

unless they stick with thorman who himself says he has a great relationship with thewlis     explains alot now does that
