Good value when you weigh up the facilities. Roof, toilets etc.

Good value perhaps if you enjoy sitting down. I personally I enjoy going to some of the more traditional stadiums. I personally don't a rats ass how 'new' the toilets are!!! My eyes tend to concentrate on the Rugby rather than the condition of the roof.

I personally prefer the Halliwell Jones to grounds such as the JJB/KC/Galpharm. The stadium is not too big for the club and has a cracking atmosphere!

If London is Athens, Yorkshire is Sparta, a tougher community and proud of it.

I prefer to pee in a toilet than those troughs and I like a roof over my head for if it rains. ATEOTD Odsal doesn't have these facilities, does it. If it did it would be more expensive to get in and you'd be defending that to the hilt.

Each to their own I guess, do you find peeing in a toilet a better peeing experience then?

Could be a bucket for all I care, as long as there's a sink to wash my hands in after. A roof at Odsal would be a nice bonus during the earlier games but on a sunny day I'd probably miss the open feel of Odsal. But I've been going for a long time now, so perhaps I'm just used to it.

I am under no illusions that the facilities at Odsal are outdated and no longer good enough for a side such as the Bulls. However I merely pointed out that we have several parking options available, and one which is literally across the road. So hardly a fair criticism of travelling to Odsal.

The Giants away following has been pretty disappointing in recent years, perhaps due to the inevitable spanking regularly handed out to your side by the Bulls put a few off. But it would appear that your side is improving and many on here feel that the Giants are close over-taking the Bulls, so I would expect perhaps that away support might improve?

As for your 15K, after playing Hull KR and attracting around 9800 Bulls (out of +12k fans).. I would expect the Giants game to reach somewhere between 10-11k.

Surely not 9.8K for the mighty Bulls? Come on you are such a dominant team it must be 15K. It used to be didn't it?

I am sure your 'parking facilities' are in keeping with your stadium. And your expectations about visiting fan numbers must be very entertaining for your friends.

On many indicators we are getting closer to you, on a few we are miles ahead. In part due to our improvements and in part due to your decline.

As a smaller club we take pleasure in these advances. i know that many Bulls fans have been hit hard by the decline of the club and being second fiddle to Leeds. Plus little prospect of catching Leeds. never mind.

I just see nothing wrong with paying a quid more for far better facilities and trying to use that quid saving as a stick to wave around in an argument is pretty pointless. You prefer to stand in a sh*thole and save a quid which is the equivalent to ~5% of the total paid then that's up to you. Most people don't but, as you say, each to their own.

Funny how you feel the need to have a pop about our travelling support but cannot take it when we point out that your facilities are dire. All those successful years and you seem to have put nothing back into the stadium.

 Huddersfield have invested the square root of sod all in their stadium. Ken Davy on the other hand...

Bulls have put plenty of money into their stadium, but given Odsal's state (a result of Bradford Council idiocy and the whims of Westminster) they are running to stand still. Hopefully the Odsal Sporting Village will sort this out once and for all. In the meantime you'd do well to get down there tonight and experience a bit of living RL history while you still can.

Huddersfield fans seem to be talking up themselves as similar to the Bulls in '96, but they forget that part of that phenomenon was Bulls' away support packing grounds around the league. Not much evidence of that sort of excitement regarding the Giants as yet.

Huddersfield Giants own 20% of the stadium, end of story. To suggest we don't invest into something we own is just plain wrong.

And not all Huddersfield fans are talking the club up as if we roll over and sh*t mars bars because we clearly don't. We're developing nicely however and have a lot to be optimistic about so it isn't entirely surprising there are some optimistic posts. Nothing to get too defensive about yet though so keep your knickers on.

You say all the above but what I 'hear' is " boo hoo, how dare you criticise the mighty Bulls!"

Your ignorance about the Galpharm is only surpassed by your woeful need to blame everyone bar the Bulls for the dump that is Odsal.

So some Giants fans are talking up their club and take pleasure from the progress being made. While some Bulls fans are so put out by it that they have come on here and prattle on about travelling support....poor things.
